Problems w/ IPHONE app (Running iOS 3.1.3 on Iphone3G)

I downloaded the todoist app directly through App Store on my Iphone. Once I open the app it only displays the TD logo at the top and nothing else. There is nowhere to input my login information or add new tasks. Other apps work fine.

It's on IPhone 3G running iOS 3.1.3

Any way to get this to work?

App Store website says:
"Requirements: Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.Requires iOS 3.0 or later"

Hello MV,

please tell me:
- Does removing and re-installing the app solve this issue?
- Can you log into Todoist through the mobile website: http://todoist.com/m ?
- When you log in, are you connected via 3G or WiFi?

Thanks for the quick reply.

- I've tried removing and re-installing the app, restarting the IPhone each time. Still doesn't work.

-Tried going to todoist.com/m from the safari browser in the iphone but same results. I've tried opening todoist.com/m in my browser on my laptop I am getting the exact same problem. Tried it w/ firefox, IE, chrome with different computers and different internet connections.

- Tried on 3G and 2 different WIFI

Perhaps it is something on your end? Are you able to access the IPhone app or mobile site in a browser?

I've been able to reproduce this, it seems there's a temporary issue with our mobile sites. Thank you very much for your report, I have forwarded it to the developers.

Hi there,

Same Issue here: app doesn't work and I can't log in manually to todoist.com/m

So the problem still exists :(

Try todoist.com/mold
that one works for me, I think it's the old mobile version.

I still can't access the app or the mobile site through the iPhone browser either. I'm guessing it's due to compatibility of running an old iPhone. Can a staff member confirm this?

Also is there a 3rd party app you can recommend that pulls data from todoist and is compatible with iOS 3.1.3 ?

This works for me too using the apple browser: http://todoist.com/m/forceRegular

They're not idal, but I guess better than nothing until I get a newer phone.

By now I'm very confident with the app BlueTick
It works perfectly and I can use all features of todoist!

I had the same problem with my iPhone, but upgraded the OS and now the app works perfectly.

Similar problem, same phone (3G), same OS (3.1.3).

For me, the app launches, shows the logo and then closes again. I don't see any network activity while the app is active.

I can't upgrade iOS due to performance problems.

todoist.com/m works from my desktop PC and my Mac (both Chrome), but on the phone it also just shows the logo. No login form shown.

Hello Evert,

we're already working on a new native iOS app (you can already sign up for the beta: https://plus.google.com/b/106827182652048588353/106827182652048588353/posts/LPT2ERLkn6J ) which should solve these issues.

For now, in order to access the mobile /m site, please make sure your mobile browser accepts cookies and is HTML5 compatible ( http://html5test.com/ ).
