Random indenting of tasks on mobile app

CD

When I view my tasks using the "Next 7 days" query on your mobile app (on both my 2nd gen iPod Touch and my iPad) some of my tasks are indented for no apparent reason (i.e. as if they were children of a parent task, even though they are unrelated to the task immediately above them). When I use the same query on your web app, everything is fine.

Hello Cliff,

the "7 days" view shows task indent levels just as an information that the particular task is a sub-task and this way, it's not necessarily a sub-task of the task displayed above as neither is displayed in relation to the other.

Please tell me - are the indented tasks actually sub-tasks or are parent tasks also randomly displayed as sub-tasks?

Best regards,
David

If I hear you correctly, you're saying that any subtask will appear indented in the "7 days" view because it is a subtask of some other parent task, even if it's not necessarily a subtask of the un-indented task above it. However, this is never how tasks are displayed on the web app using the same query, so why would it be so with the mobile app?

Regardless of that, in my experience with the mobile app, whether a task is an independent one, or a sub-task of another parent task, the issue is the same: it happens randomly to both kinds of tasks.

Hello Cliff,

so far, we're unable to reproduce this issue. If you could identify anything that the tasks which mistakenly appear as sub-tasks in the "7 days" view have in common, we may be able to identify what's causing this.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David
