Hello Tom,

unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. Please tell me - what's the complete link and the exact complete content of the task name which you're typing into the task name?

Best regards,
David

I added a link with the chrome extension.

The link was
http://www.eecg.toronto.edu/~moshovos/research/jetty.pdf

Thats all that the task is. When I click the link, the ~ doesn't show up, so the link is broken.

(It goes to http://www.eecg.toronto.edu/moshovos/research/jetty.pdf)

Tom,

if I add only the link posted above as a task, whether I highlight it, copy and paste or use "Copy link location" in Firefox which changes the tilde to %7E, it's still working and redirects me to the PDF document.

However, when using the "Add website as task" option, the Chrome add-on doesn't insert only the raw URL, the task content is this:

http://www.eecg.toronto.edu/moshovos/research/jetty.pdf (www.eecg.toronto.edu/~moshovos/research/jetty.pdf)

which is visible when you click outside of the link to edit this task and in this case it indeed breaks the link.

Thank you very much for your report, I have forwarded this to the developers. For now, please edit the task and add only the raw URL within its name to "fix" this particular link.

Sorry for any inconvenience it might have caused you.

Best regards,
David

Hello Tom,

this issue has been fixed. You can now add links containing a tilde using the "Add website as task" option.

Again, thank you for reporting this bug and sorry for any inconvenience it might have caused you.
