Calendar control not working properly (2012 year)

TR

I noticed first that any dates I had for 2012 showed up as 2011 (they showed as being WAY overdue---by like 300+ days). Also, if I clicked in the date field and used the calendar control, then selected 2012...the date in the text field failed to update to 2012. It still showed 2011. For reference, I'm using IE 8.0 (32-bit version) running in Windows 7 64-bit.

Hello,

please tell me:
- What exact due date formats have you used in the tasks that didn't work properly?
- Does using Ctrl+F5 and/or clearing your browser cache fix this issue?

Best regards,
David

one example: 1/1 2015

Figured out the problem I had when changing the year. If you click the year drop down and select a different year but do not click on a day number, then click *outside* the calendar control (i.e. on Save button for the task being edited), the control doesn't propogate the saved year to the text field! You have to actually click on a day in the month view of the calendar control to get the year change to take effect.

The other problem was transient and I've already reset the years on those (manually typed the date in).

Hello,

thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it and will consider changing this function in future development. Unfortunately, it is indeed required to select a specific day each time you change the due date.

Alternatively, you can simply type 1/1 2015 within the due date input field. Please refer to this list:

to see which simple date formats you can use as an alternative to the drop-down calendar.

Best regards,
David
