Import from Google Calendar

JB

Is it possible to import from the Google Calendar, not only export to it? I recently upgraded to Premium to be able to export but I have a few tasks that I'd like to be able to import...

Hello JC,

unfortunately, importing tasks is not possible right now, but thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it and will consider adding such feature in future development.

Thanks David, but I seem to have some issues to export to Google Calendar. Any suggestions?

JC,

please take a look at his short video:

illustrating how to sync your Todoist task with Google Calendar.

If you still experience any issues, please let me know, I'll be glad to help.

Best regards,
David

OK, but do I have to do this every time I add or modify a task or will Todist interface and synchronize with Google Calendar?

I start being quite unimpressed with this software. I installed this believeing it would interface with Google Tasks and Calendar but it's far from being the case...

JC,

the frequency of the updates of our iCal feed depends on the software you're using it with. Unfortunately, Google Calendar refreshes the feed about once a day and we don't have any influence on this.

As for Google Task integration - even though Todoist itself doesn't interact with Google Tasks, it can be used with your Gmail Inbox allowing you to add emails as tasks as well as links to any website as a task and access them directly.

Please take a look at this short video:

to see how it works.

This option is also available in Todoist for Firefox or Todoist Anywhere (accessible through every browser).

Best regards,
David
