postpone button is assigning random date

AA

Hi. I am trying to use the postpone button to move the due date and time one more day. However, it is assigning a random future date and time (mostly the day after tomorrow with random time) every single time I try to use it. I am on a different time zone ( +3 GMT) . Could this be the reason? Can you kindly fix this?

Hello Ali,

please tell me:
- What exact due date format is being used in a task in which this issue occurs?
- What exact date is the task being postponed to?

Please note that you can't postpone tasks just one more day if its date format is not "every day". Tasks are always being postponed to the next available occurrence. For example, if you postpone an overdue task scheduled for yesterday with a due date format "ev 15" (every 15th day of a month), it will be moved to January 15th, 2012.

Best regards,
David

For example, postponing a task with 12/17 2011 @ 12:45 as due date/time will assign 12/20 2011 @ 02:59 as the new due date!

I understand that if the task is recurring , one would want to postpone to the next occurrence. However, if there is no recurrence, sometime I would like to postpone multiple task till the next day if I don't have a chance to do them today. Is this possible? Or shall I continue to manually adjust the dates?

Ali,

thank you for the details, this indeed shouldn't happen. A single non-recurring task should be postponed to "tomorrow".

I have forwarded this to the developers. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Best regards,
David

Hello Ali,

this issue has been fixed. Tasks with a due time will now be postponed correctly.

Again, thank you for reporting this bug and sorry for any inconvenience it might have caused you.
