No Todoist pane in Outlook 2007

I was using the Todoist Outlook Add-in with Outlook 2007 for a number of weeks, but now cannot seem to get the Todoist sidebar to show up. It's in the list of Add-ins in Outlook.

Also, when I did have the pane showing up, once the list got too long and scrolled off the bottom, the "Add email as task" function didn't work. It looked like it added an item, but since the item was at the bottom it seemed to not "take." Any thoughts?

Hello Robert,

Please go to the "Tools" menu and choose "Trust center" and select the "Add-ins" tab. On the bottom of this window choose "COM Add-ins", click "Go" and check "Todoist" on the list.

If it's already checked, please remove the add-in from the Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (it will be listed as "OutlookTodoist"), reinstall it and if it still won't work, tell me:
- Which operating system are you using?
- Have you installed any other Outlook plugins lately?

Thanks, David. I'm running Windows 7, and I haven't added or removed other plug-ins recently. I appreciate the assistance. Unfortunately this is the second or third time this has happened. Honestly, while I really like Todoist, I'm very close to just uninstalling it and switching back to MyLifeOrganized. Any chance there's a new version coming soon that might deal with some of these Outlook bugs?

And, any thoughts on my second questions about not being able to add emails to a Todoist list when it gets longer than the Outlook side pane?

we're very sorry for the inconvenience. We will try to fix all these issues in future releases of our Outlook plugin. Unfortunately, I can't give you any timeframe on when the next revision will be released :(

As for your second question - I can't reproduce this issue. Please tell me:
- When you click on the "add email link", do you see the input box with the link to the email?
- Do you see the task being added, but then disappearing after changing the view?
- Are you using the "Save" button or adding the task with the Enter key?

David, I'm having the same issue. My todoist viewer is blank, and the only options are move,size,close. Nothing happens when I click the "add email link" button.

Just got this to work. I use Chrome, but I had to go into IE and clear out all passwords/cookies.

I had problems with Todoist in Outlook only if I try to log in with google. Just try the other login without google. Worked for me.
