does anyone know what this message "authentication failed" means? I keep getting this message when attempting to perform any of the functions of todoist on my Motorola Droid 2

please tell me, are you using our Todoist Mobile page: http://todoist.com/m or a third-party application?

If you're using our page, please try to clear your browser cache and cookies and tell me:
- which browser are you using on your phone and
- at which point are you getting this message (already upon login)?

I was not using the todoist Mobile page. I have downloaded the premium edition for my phone as an app. the browser for my phone is Google. the message comes when I try to get the app to let me add or see projects or tasks. Will I still need to use the Mobile page for my phone when I have downloaded the app to my phone (premium)?

Milton,

unfortunately, all currently available mobile apps are third-party solutions and we are aware of an issue regarding the SSL certificate which may cause problems on certain systems.

If you're referring to a different app the TiskTasks, please contact its developer and if he's aware of this issue, he could contact us and/or provide information which could help us to solve it.

As for your second question - the mobile page is an alternative to the third-party apps an is not required when using stand-alone apps although these apps may still require an internet connection in order to sync with Todoist. We will soon release our native mobile app which will offer offline capabilities as well.

I understand. I will delete the third party app and use the mobile page until you guys develop your own native app. do you have any idea as to when that will be released?

the iOS version has just reached the App Store today: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/todoist/id476672770?ls=1&mt=8 so it won't be very long before we release the Android version :)

I hope you get your app runnning soon. I've come to Todoist from RTM, solely for the way you allow subtasks. I think with Todoist you could be kicking Milk into a cocked hat.
good luck (and where do i make suggestions for new/improved features?)
