Why did the color boxes gray out in my "view all projects" list?

T

I color code my projects. Usually the proper color appears in the box beside each task in the "view all projects" list. Today, the boxes grayed out. In addition, they shrunk considerably(so the color is barely discernible)in the master project list on the left. I am accessing todoist via the website. This problem occurred both in Google Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers.

Hello Taylor,

the smaller color tags in the project list are part of our new design. If you would like to see an alternative option of displaying the project color tags, you're welcome to add a feature request to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/
We appreciate any feedback.

As for the "viewall" mode. Please clarify, which exact query are you referring to? The "va" or "viewall" query does not display project names next to each task and they should be visible (along with the proper color) in the temporal views (like "7 days").

Best regards,
David

In any view I use ("view all projects", "today," "7 days,") the boxes in the project list--which usually display the color I've assigned to this type of project--are grayed out and are not showing the proper color code. This is true in Google Chrome, Mozilla, or Internet Explorer browsers.

Unfortunately, we're unable to reproduce this issue.

Please tell me:
- Can you still change the colors or is this function blocked?
- Do the colors get grayed out each time you restore them?
- Do the proper colors still appear on the "7 days view" on the right side of each task?

Best regards,
David

The boxes that appears on the left side of each task are now gray. they used to be color coded to match the color I assigned to the project. When I view in "7 days view" the proper colors still appear on the right side of the task. I can still change colors on the tasks as they appear in the master list that always runs down the left side of the screen (although the colored boxes are much smaller now) But it doesn't really help to color code when the boxes no longer appear in color in whatever mode I view my project list.

Hello Taylor,

unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue :(

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? Also, could you please send a screenshot showing this issue?

Here's what I see after using project colors in the "7 days" view:
http://files.wedoist.com/6e5b66dcf4fdd7636e86a915878b204d/as/project_colors.gif

and same colors apply when switching to project view:

Is this the point where you see the colors gray out?

Best regards,
David

Your screen shots look like mine. My memory is that it used to look different, and that color coding was included in the boxes that appeared with the various task lists (the boxes that you can check when task is complete). It may just be that once Todoist reduced the size of the color coding boxes, it made them much less visible--and that's where I mistakenly assumed a color had changed. Thank you for researching this.
