What's the ETA on fixing todoist/m?

MS

I'm still getting a browser hang-up on /m on my Android device. Weeks ago, you guys said you were working on it—can you provide an update on the timeline? I'd really like to be able to use that interface on my phone.

Still no luck. I'm on a Droid 1, running 2.2 and Dolphin Mini browser. Does my phone not have the horsepower?

Hello Matt,

although Todoist Mobile should work on your phone, you could experience such issues if you set up a lot of tasks.

We are currently working on our native mobile app which would solve this problem, but for now, please check out the available third-party mobile apps.

For detailed information, go to http://todoist.com/mobile and check the "native app" section at the bottom of the page.

Best regards,
David

Yeah, I have a lot of tasks built in. I use Todoist for everything. Okay, I'll wait for your native app. I've looked into the other apps and have not been impressed.

Why does it take a question on the support forum to get an update that the mobile site has been improved? I thought you guys were going to start getting proactive in your communications.

Jaiver, because the improvements only affect a small portion of Todoist's users.

I am having difficulty logging into todoist.com/m. I enter my email and password and select "login" and nothing happens. Any ideas. My phone is a Blackberry Curve.

Hello Jeff,

please try to change the emulation mode in your browser configuration.

If this doesn't help, please go to Browser -> Options -> Cache operations -> Clear Content Cache, Pushed Content and Cookies Cache.

Also, make sure cookies are enabled in your browser (Browser -> Menu button -> Options -> Browser options -> check "accept cookies").

David

David,
Thanks for the help. I did clear the cache, pushed content and cookies on my phone. I also changed the emulation from Blackberry to Openwave. My menu options don't seem to have a place to "accept cookies" but I am sure it is set right since I do have cookies saved (saw them when I went to clear them). When I login to todoist.com/m and enter my email address and password everything is fine. Then when I press the "login" button nothing happens. It doesn't even seem to be trying to transmit anything. Thanks for your patience.

David,
I tried all of them and I don't get any response when I press the "login". Tried Blackberry, Openwave (WAP), Openwave Gateway, Microsoft IE, MS Pocket IE,and Netscape. Let me know what you think. Thanks for your help.

Hello Jeff,

I'm sorry you're experiencing this issue :(

Unfortunately, the current mobile version of Todoist is a temporary solution before the release of our native Todoist app and may indeed not work on every smartphone or not work properly under some circumstances.

You could try the old mobile version located here: http://todoist.com/mold but it has limited functionality.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David

Thanks David. I am a new user to Todoist and I do like it's simplicity and logic. I am testing it and then we are probably going to test the wedoist so we can use it within our consulting company and potentially recommend it to some of our clients as an effective project management tool. Any idea when the native Todoist app may be released?
Thanks again,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,

unfortunately, I can't give you any estimated timeframe for the release of our native applications.

In order to ensure the highest quality, functionality and support for any smartphone, the development is already taking more time than originally planned, but it's currently out #1 priority and as soon as it's released we will notify everyone.

Best regards,
David
