Can I undelete a task?

RC

I accidentally deleted a task with 68 incomplete subtasks. Can I get this back?

I didn't get an option to undo at the top - the bar just says 68 tasks deleted.

Hello Richard,

you were supposed to see "68 tasks deleted. Undo" at the top where "Undo" would be a link allowing you to un-delete these tasks.

If the link wasn't visible, please tell me:
- Which browser are you using?
- Does this issue also occur in a different browser?
- Are you accessing Todoist directly through the website or through a plugin (if so - which one)?
- From which view did you delete your tasks (project view, search result etc.)?

Best regards,
David

I was looking at one of my projects at the time. The project list on the left, the task list on the right.

I'm using Internet Explorer 9 directly through the web site (not a plug in).

I clicked the little cog to the right of the task and chose Delete.

A bar appeared at the top but it just said that the tasks had been deleted; there was no link to recover them.

Is there no other way to retrieve deleted tasks? There really should be as it's so easy to accidentally delete tasks and no "Are you sure?" question is asked.

Hello Richard,

indeed, there seems to be a bug with this function in Internet Explorer. I've forwarded this to the developers and we will fix this as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, this is the only way to un-delete a task. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David

Hello Richard,

this bug has been fixed, you will now always see the Undo option in Internet Explorer.
