can't "check off" a task

OF

I have a recurring "pay bills" task that I can't check off.

Tried in Chrome and Firefox, both up-to-date from stable channels.

When I check the box the spinning circle shows up but never stops spinning.

According to Firebug no request is being sent to the server when I check the box.

Other tasks seem to work fine. I created a few test tasks and checked them off, no problem.

Hello Olivier,

please tell me:
- What's the exact due date you've used in this particular task?
- From which view are you trying to check the task off (Project view, Overdue, Other search result page etc.)?

Best regards,
David

The due date is "every 1, 15". Trying to check off today the one that was due aug 15.

Thanks, O

Unfortunately, this is not a supported date format and will not work properly :(

Please use only the date formats listed here:

That's pretty lousy. If the format is not supported then how come it was accepted and seems to work for the most part? If it's an invalid format it should just get rejected completely when I create the task instead of breaking on me somewhere down the line.

On top of that, why would you not support this format? It's a perfectly sensible format and is a natural extension to "every mon, fri @ 20:00".

Anyways, I finally got it to work by checking it off in TodoistDroid, which handled it just fine. As a side-not, it's the first time I see a 3rd-party Android app that is more capable than its original web-app counterpart!
