My project task counts are inaccurate ... mostly.

RB

Some projects show the correct number of tasks. Some are off by 2 or 3. One is off by 14, showing 28 rather than the correct number of 14.

I've cleared my cache, with no effect on this behavior.

I'm sure this is related to last week's wonkiness, but ... can it be fixed?

Hello Ramanuj,

this can be fixed by adding 1 task to each project and then reloading the page using Ctrl+F5.

Non-intuitive but ... works! Thank you for the quick response.

Is there a list of all the keyboard shortcuts (such as CTRL-F5) online? I'm new to Todoist, but it's structure fits my brain's so I think I'll probably stick with it and would love to be more productive using it.

Thanks.

Ctrl+F5 is not Todoist-strict. This shortcut forces to reload any page reading it completely from the server ignoring any off-line info you may have for it. It's useful if a website might have been updated and you don't see the recent changes as it's being read from your hard drive.

This isn't a required process for adding any task, you should see an updated and proper task count without the need to refresh, this one-time issue has been caused by the recent outage.

As for other shortcuts, here's a complete list of shortcuts you can use with Todoist:

Excellent; thanks again.

(I usually use just plain old F5 to reload web pages, so thought CTRL-F5 might be a Todoist thing.)

Hi David,
I also often have a wrong task count.
Ok, if there is a workaround. But I would prefer to have fixed that misbehaviour. That problem seems to exist a longer time.
Please keep in mind, that this service is not free (at least in my case).

I've also have same problem, in my case it's not convinient to add empty tasks - for me count of completed/total tasks matters. Can it be fixed, please? :)

Hello Stalker,

please try to add one new task, force-reload the page then delete this task and let us know if this fixes this issue.

This may help us reproduce this this issue and fix it.

Best regards,
David

Stalker,

also, could you please tell us if your using any Todoist plugins or mobile apps? If so - which ones?

Best regards,
David
