Attempting to switch from Monthly to Annual Premium account

My monthly Premium account renewed on 7/27/11. On 7/28/11 I clicked the link to upgrade to Annual. A message appeared directing me to cancel my current subscription. I did so both on PayPal and Todoist.com. I received a verification of cancellation email from PayPal. On Todoist.com Preferences > Premium it continues to say I'm on the Premium subscription through 8/27/11. When I click the Annual button, I continue to get the directions to first cancel my subscription.

Do I need to wait until after 8/27?

Hello Philip,

if you've received a confirmation message about the cancellation of your current subscription and are no longer subscribed to any monthly payments to Todoist, then your subscription is cancelled.

This does not mean, though, that your premium membership has been cancelled, since you've already paid for the month ending 8/27/11. Therefore, technically, you're still "subscribed" - to the service, but not to any further payments.

Please wait until your premium membership runs out on 8/28/11 and then subscribe to the yearly plan.

Best regards,

: ( I can't find an option for a monthly plan. When I go to PayPal to pay for the upgrade to Premium, I only see the yearly option. I want to pay from month to month-- not for the whole year. Is this possible?

Hello Cannie,

unfortunately, monthly payments have been discontinued.

If you subscribe for a Premium account, though, you can try it out for 14 days free of charge.

Best regards,
