Query for recurring events

FC

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to obtain information about recurring events using a query. For example, I've added a recurring event "cinema" every friday. Then I would like to know my "status" (i.e. if I'm busy) for Friday, July 8th (because I need to allocate other appointments on that day), I type 8/7 and I don't see that appointment (but if I type 1/7 then I can see it), so I could create another (conflicting) event for July, 8th because I thought I wasn't busy. Is it possible to obtain information about recurring events with a query? Thanks!

Hello Flavio,

for now, you can use the "x days" query so if you search for 7 days, you'll see recurring tasks (or just type "friday").

Still, you should be able to see a recurring tasks if you query for the day it's assigned to. I'll forward this to the developers, thank you for your feedback and sorry for any inconvenience.

Best regards,
David

Thank you for the answer! Even if I type "x days" I can see only the first event of the recurring series. Thank you for the report and the support!

Hello Flavio,

according to the developers, direct queries like 8/7, 1/7 will be added in future development, for now this function will not be available. Sorry for any inconvenience.

As for "x days" - you should see every recurring event within the queried amount of days using this option.

Please tell me which browser are you using?
Does this happen directly on the Todoist page or are you using a plugin/add-on version of Todoist?
How did you set the due date in these recurring tasks?

Best regards,
David

Yes, I see the recurring events using "x days", but only the first one. For example, if I have a recurring event on Saturday and I write "15 days" then I see it only on the first Saturday. The second Saturday is empty, but this is a wrong information.

> Please tell me which browser are you using?

Chrome 12.0.742.112.

Directly on Todoist page.

> How did you set the due date in these recurring tasks?

I wrote "ev 7 days starting 2/7", for example.

Thanks again!
