Do you have any plans to do an app for Windows phone 7, i would be more than happy to do beta testing.Amit
Hello,we are working on multiple mobile solutions for Todoist so eventually a Windows Phone app will also be available. I can't give you any timeframe, though :(Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it.Best regards,David
There s a simple, yet functional application called Todoist Light available from WP7 marketplace. It's not official, it lacks many features (and all premium ones), but it is quite usable for task entry on the go and while you are away from the browser.
Sorry... It is Todoist Lite. Spelling matters! :)
Please make Windows phone 7 app sooner. I too use the todoist lite. Not sure, Todoist lite is official ?
I second Sriram. Todoist Lite is not official and has issues with checking off completed tasks and syncing. However, for now, the mobile site works great on the new Mango WP7 OS.
Is there any news on a WP7 app?The most annoying lacking feature is the lack of offline support...
Hello Rein, although we are working on new mobile applications, please note that for not, you can use the Todoist Mobile site: http://todoist.com/m which fully support offline work and with an option to sync changes at a later time once you connect to the internet.Best regards,David
I have todoist.com/m pinned to my start screen on my Windows Phone as an Internet Explorer shortcut. I tried it out. It works nicely if I have an internet connection. If I turn off data communications and tap the tile, I get a message saying there is no internet connection. I am unable to view or edit my data offline. Are you sure it is supposed to work offline? Is there some trick to doing this?
Hello Paul, yes, our mobile version works offline, however it requires an HTML5 compatible browser which supports offline storage. Please go to http://html5test.com/ through your mobile browser and see if IE supports "Application Cache" (in the "Web application" section) and "Local storage" (in the "Storage" section).Best regards,David
Hello DavidThanks for your response. I checked. You are right, the application cache is not supported in IE on Windows Phone 7.5, so it can't todoist.com offline. I will have to wait for an IE update, or some other more-capable browser.I look forward to having an official Todoist app for Windows Phone. Perhaps the incentive to produce such an app will increase when Windows 8 (and WOA) get closer to shipping.Paul
I am developing by myself an application for Windows Phone 7.5 for Todoist. If the staff agree I would like to ask some pictures, and color schemes to do it compatible with the Todoist and Modern UI design (from WP). (:I think that will be awesome. (: Don't you think that guys?
Hello Richard,We're happy to hear that, let us know when you finish your app :)Although we can't give you any specific color schemes, you can use the colors we use - same colors for projects and labels etc.Best regards,David
Hey guys what do you think about the first screens?http://goo.gl/enQlj
Richard,Looks good so far, but please note that third-party applications may not be named "Todoist" and you can't publish this app on the store enter the name "Todoist" - this is the only restriction for using our API.We're looking forward to see further screenshots - especially in-app screens :)Best regards,David
The restriction is just about the name, right? Is there something wrong on using your images?
Richard,Actually we would prefer if you'd use our own branding, that is - create a new name for your app. The reason for this limitation is so that our customers will clearly know that this is not our official app so it can't be sold as "Todoist for Windows", but something like "Metroist - Todoist client", for example would be fine with your own logo etc.Best regards,David
What about if this app could be part of your package of mobile apps?
Richard,If you'd like to develop this app for us, you're welcome to apply for a job at Doist. Please visit http://doist.io/ and use the button at the bottom (below the map) to send your CV and portfolio.Best regards,David
Looking forward to the Windows Phone 7.5 app.Any news?
Hello Stature,You're welcome to follow Todoist on Google+, Facebook and Twitter. As soon as we have any news or previews of a Windows Phone app, we'll announce it there.Best regards,David
