Gmail integration

JL

Hi,

Im using a MacBook Pro with Google Chrome. I have installed Todoist into my Browser and upgraded to the Pro package. However I can not see how I can add a Gmail to my list. I have opened an email in Gmail then clicked on the widget, but it only displays tasks due today. There is no option to add an email or link???

Hello James,

do you mean the Todoist for Chrome add-on or the Todoist Anywhere add-on?

In Todoist for Chrome, please click "Show projects" in the upper left corner of the widget, choose a project and from there you should see "Add email" on the bottom.

In Todoist Anywhere, there seems to be a bug and it indeed doesn't show this option, I'll forward this to the developers, thanks for your feedback.

Best regards,
David

Awesome, thanks for that David. I see it now. It is the Chrome add-on i am using.

Thanks
James

As for clicking the Show Projects first, then choosing a project and then adding an e-mail, wouldn't it be simpler if we had an Add e-mail link on the Today screen that automatically created a task on the first Project with "Today" pre-set (but changeable) as the date? Or, even better, already having a short form at the bottom of the today list ready just in case we want to add a task.

That would take the 3-4 clicks now needed for adding an e-mail to 1 click, and it would make the Chrome extension more useful than copying-pasting to another window or than the Anywhere bookmark.
