Hello Matthew,

yes, you can export your tasks to your Google Calendar.

In order to do that, go to Todoist.com and click "Preferences" in the upper right corner. On the bottom of the new window, you'll find the URL needed for the integration.

More details on how to import tasks into Google Calendar can be found here:

Maybe you would add this instruction into help page? I've spent 15 minutes to find this information

Hi,
I managed to see my tasks in the Google Calendar.
But when I delete or complete a task in Todoist, the task does not disappear from the Google Calendar.
What is wrong?

Regards,
Thomas

Hello Thomas,

you can try to unsubscribe and re-add the iCal feed again, but please keep in mind that it's not being updated live. The Google Calendar will most likely sync with the feed once a day so if the changes won't appear within the next 24 hours, please let me know.

Also, do you see changes in the calendar if you add a task or a project?

Best regards,
David

Hi David,
ok now I understand. It is not live.

Is there a way to have it live?

To answer your question: Also when I add a task it does not appear in the calendar. Only when I subscribe the calendar in Google I have the tasks immediately there.

Best regards
Thomas

Hello Thomas,

unfortunately there's no way to force live updates of the iCal feed in Google Calendar :(

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Best regards,
David

Hello,

Is the integration with Google calendar only available for premium members?

Hi David, thanks for answering.
I just bought today my premium account for todoist and added it on google calendar.

I have many questions :
- is there a way to make that each todoist-project become a list of the "tasks" gadget of google (on My calendar...and not "other calendar), consequently...synchronized todoist and the task-list of google ?
because i don't like that much that each task of the todoist become a day-event

-is it possible to choose which project of todoist synchronized with google calendar ?

-does it exist a todoist gadeget from the googlemail-labo ?

thanks a lot, you've made a great job, this task manager is really good (but can always be better ;-) )

regards,
Lucie Begert

Hello Lucie,

1. If you're referring to the "Google Tasks" feature available in the bottom-right corner then unfortunately, Todoist does not integrate with this feature.

2. It's currently not possible to get separate iCal feeds for each project or choose which projects should be included within the current feed.

3. Unfortunately, there are no Todoist gadgets available at the GMail Lab.

Thank you very much for your feedback, though. We appreciate it and will consider adding some of the suggested features in future development. You're welcome to add requests to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/

Also, you could easily manage your GMail Inbox with Todoist for Chrome. Please take a look at this short video showing how it works:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSPa2ZHCs-Y

If you're not using Google Chrome as your Browser, you could also get Todoist for Firefox: http://todoist.com/firefox or Todoist Anywhere: http://todoist.com/anywhere compatible with every other browser.

Best regards,
David
