iPhone reminders keep going off when task has been marked complete or even deleted?

Hello there,

I'm trying to figure this out. Every time I edit or add or remove or anything in the windows application, my phone will pick a task that has been completed already and push a reminder to me.

This has happened continuously for the past couple weeks. I deleted the app from my iPhone and re-installed that seemed to work. Until I added another task to my windows app. Now keep in mind the task I add or edit in windows is not the same task that shows notifications on my phone.

No idea why it's doing this, but it won't stop.

Thanks,
Lorne

Hi Lorne,

If you search for the task that the reminder goes off for, do you find it and is it active, completed? Does it have reminders attached to it and can you delete it?

I would log out of the iphone app, close down the Windows application, clear the cache for IE (the app uses it) and then log back into it.

Regards,
Brendon.

Brendon, I tried that, and it didn't really work. Every time I add a task, edit a task, change the reminders of a task, complete a task, it takes a task that is overdue and reminds me on my phone twice back to back. I even completed the task that it keeps reminding me of. It even comes up with someone else on my shared task list completes a project.

I tried to clear cache re-install iPhone app and that only works temporarily.

I really need this to be fixed, the sole reason I got the premium was for reminders on my phone.

Thanks,
Lorne

I am having the same issue - I have only just started using the reminders feature on the one I created reminders for it keeps going off even though I have completed the task. There are no reminders showing on the task now either but it keeps coming up!! I need the resolved too as its going off at night and tomorrow its the weekend - really, really annoying.

Really need this sorting - its driving me mad going off every hour or so fro a task that was completed yesterday. Even if it means I can't use the reminders until you sort it that is fine but I MUST have a way to stop my phone going off all the time - else I'll just have to remove the app which I really dot want to have to do.

Same problem. And used 4 reminders for the task and so it's going off incessantly. I'm thinking of just cancelling my subscription and deleting it all together if I can get it to stop.

Hello Rob,

We're sorry for the inconvenience, we're looking into this issue. For now, as a workaround, please try to delete our app on all your iOS devices and reinstall it - this will stop the reminders.

Best regards,
David

Any fix on this one? I had a reminder go off at 0 mins, 10mins, and 30 mins. I finished the task and deleted it and it's still making my phone go crazy and remind me about 6 times in a row whenever I edit or add a task on my computer program (windows 7).

Any ideas?

I've tried that before and issue still persists. But I'm trying it again.

Ok well I had weekly reminders every weds on one of my tasks and when I deleted it my phone vibrated maybe 15-20 times back to back with that task. My phone had a seizure!

This really needs to be fixed, stat!

Lorne,

So you have re-installed again? You have also updated to the latest 8.3 version correct? I have asked the question to see if there is any news with the fix. Though, it seems to only be certain people sadly.

Regards,
Brendon.

Yes I have most recent iOS app and my computer is running latest one I think. Don't know where to check the version?
