Hello,

Please tell me:
- Which version of Todoist are you using?
- Which version of iOS are you using?

Best regards,
David

Hello,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. I've tried on a few accounts, Premium and free and it never crashed when tapping on the contact to add. It added it and showed the list of collaborators with the new contact having a "pending" status.

That said, please tell me:
- Does your contact have a Todoist account already?
- Does deleting and reinstalling the app help?
- Does your contact have a name with special characters, or an email address with non-alphanumeric characters?

Best regards,
David

Unfortunately, I have had no success. Neither restarting the iPad nor reloading the app has led to success. whenever I click contact in a project or task on the icon, the app crashes. This is not the case when I run the same process in the iPhone.

Strange. Best regards

The crash does not seem to be related to whether the contact has an account or not. The program crashes even when I put myself as contact.

Hello,

Thank you for this information. I still can't reproduce this issue under any circumstance, but I'll pass it to the developers for them to double-check it.

Best regards,
David

additional information: the choice of contacts to a project only works on the iPhone. However, it is synchronized with iPad. Todoist can not generate this step on iPad still. As before, the app crashes whenever I try.

hi, there are new insights to my problem? on the iPad i still cannot mark a contact to a project or task. The App crashes imeediatly. it only works on the iPhone. now I have the premium update tentatively installed. even in the Premium version, I can not assign contacts - on the iPad. of course, this feature is quite essential. is there any way to solve the problem? should I completely uninstall on both devices and start over? without this feature I'm missing something important. Is there an instruction manual in German Language? regards

Hello,

We're sorry for the inconvenience, unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about it on your end, we're addressing this issue in the app itself and will release an update fixing it (which may then take a week for Apple to approve).

There are currently no manuals in German, but if you're using your iOS device in German, you should see all the tooltips in our app also in German.

Best regards,
David

"using your iOS device in German" means on iPad or only on the Mac? On iPad I cant find any help informations.

when I create a new project, this project may have many individual tasks and sub-structures. how can I use this structure already created for other projects with the same structure? Is there any function of simple copying?

Thxs.

Hi,

On the web version, if you head into the project, then click on the wrech icon in the top right beside the project name it will have the "Export as template" option allowing you copy it, and re-create it as another project.

Not possible on mobile at this time.

Regards,
Brendon.
