Links in Titles in Iphone App don't work

DW

When I use the Chrome app to add a webpage as a task, it creates the name of the webpage as a clickable link as the task title. When I click on that title, I go to the webpage. However, in the iphone app, when I click on the title link, it simply opens the panel to complete, schedule, etc. I see no way to actually open the link in a browser. This seems to be a major problem.

Hello Dan,

You have to tap on it twice - the first tap will show the panel, but at the same time activate the link, then with the second tap on the (now linked) task name, you'll be able to open the URL in the browser.

It doesn't work for me. Nothing happens with the second tap.

Dan,

I've just tried again and it seems to work for me. Please clarify - after the menu is completely rolled down (and not during the animation), you tap exactly at the text in the task that should be linked?

Also, please try to add a task with this content:

https://google.com (Google)

It will show you just "Google", when you tap on the task, then on the word "Google", Safari will open the linked site (it did for me just now).

Best regards,
David

I restarted my Iphone and now it works. Perhaps the update to Next had some effect.
