Hi There,

Are you on the Today view on both devices? Sub-tasks show as their own task on the Today view. If you head into the project they are from, it should show the parent and sub tasks as they are created.

Regards,
Brendon.

Yes. It today view it does not appear. I create a task for today, and put today. But if I create a subtask for this and do not put today, I will not appear. Nevertheless if I put it for today it will appear im tofay view but not related to mother task, then, it can't be call a subtask.
Please fix this option.
As I repeat, until now android is better.

Thanks a lot!

Hello,

This is indeed how our iOS app works. The Android version has a more advanced sub-task managing and display options and we'll look into adding similar options in future updates.

Best regards,
David

Hi Guys,
Unable to see my subtasks in iphone and ipad. Useless for me to add subtasks when I know I cannot see them on my mobile and ipad during travelling.

Please consider adding subtasks feature in iOS devices as well.

Thanks

Hello Yasir,

You can add a sub-task through the iOS app. To do so, please choose the indent level of the task while adding or editing it.

Best regards,
David

Hi Todoist Staff,

On an IOS can you move tasks with subtasks so that they stay connected?

Also, when you give a task with subtasks a due date, (such as today) will all of these subtasks show up on this date in order on the IOS? (Right now they are not showing up as subtasks on my "Today" view, they are showing up as separate items in a random order).

Thanks for your help,

AC

Hello AC,

Yes, you can move a task with a sub-task to a different project. To do so, please edit the parent task and change its project the sub-task will be moved as well.

Sub-tasks will show as separate tasks in date-based views or any other search results on any platform. We will add better sub-task support in these views so that you'll be able to collapse/expand the parent task just as on the web.

Best regards,
David
