Push reminder for non-existing task

MM

hi there,

there is a serious fault with some caching in Push notifications.

I had a task which I completed but I keep getting push notifications for that.

So I decided to un-complete the task, rename and try it out.

Still the completed yesterday's task is populating a push notification.

I don't wish to uninstall and re-install Todoist.

What else can I do?

Thanks,
Michail

Hello Michail,

Please tell me - are you still referring to the iOS 6 version of our app? It's no longer supported, but if you'll continue to experience this issue with our iOS 7 app, please let us know.

Best regards,
David

Newton,

Thanks for the report. We are looking into this now. If you can tell me more details about your situation, is it only one task, when exactly was it created, can you find the task anywhere now?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hello Newton,

Please try to enter the Inbox project through the web at https://todoist.com and click on the circular icon in the bottom-right corner. This should load the list of completed tasks from the inbox and give you an option to un-check it, see if it still has some active reminders, remove them and check it off again or delete it.

Best regards,
David
