how download old version

JH

Not everyone has a device that supports iOS v7. I have an iPad Touch less than a year old, and it won't load v7. Your latest version REQUIRES iOS v7. Is there a way to download an older version of your mobile software that works on v6?

Hi John,

This, unfortunately is not possible for us to do. iOS requires users to update to the current version, and is done through the app store. You should be able to stay on the current version without issue, but this only works if you had it installed before. On Android we can provide an APK file which you'd be able to install, iOS does not have this ability.

Brendon.

thanks for the quick reply. please see

Is something like this available for iOS? Can you just change a few entries describing your app to allow previous version downloading?

thanks
John

John,

This seems to be for OSX only and not iOS, though if it does come to us we will most likely take advantage of it.

We feel that multiple entries of the same thing, even changed, is not good practice.

Thanks,
Brendon.

the phrase "Just like it did with iOS 7" at the start seems to imply
that Apple had done this already for the release of iOS 7 applications and previous version of those.

It may be that a user only sees one version is a search etc. based on
his current iOS version. I think this deserves some investigation,
because a lot of people are stuck with hardware that won't support iOS 7.

thanks

John,

You are correct. I will look into this with the developers and let you know what they say. I could be mistaken.

Thanks,
Brendon.
