No Priority Sorting?

MB

So I've gotten used to not being able to have project tasks sorted by priority, but now priority sorting doesn't work in Today view either. All my Today tasks are totally randomly sorted. Why? I'm using Chrome, and yes, I've cleared my cahche and cookies already...

Hello Mike,

Please clarify - are you only referring to Chrome or also the iOS app (as you've posted in the iOS section)?

Assuming you're only referring to Chrome, you can always sort your tasks by priority within project by using the "p" key while you're in a project.

As for the today tasks, did you at any time, manually reorder any of these tasks there? Also, please try to clear all Todoist's cached data. Clearing all cache automatically will not remove all offline storage, so please try to go to Chrome's Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site date and delete todoist.com from there and reload the browser.

Best regards,
David

Sorry yes, thiis is for Chrome, not iOS. Yes, I have manually reordered the tasks because Todoist doesn't sort properly. I followed the steps in Chrome that you suggested but it didn't help. I'll just have to do a manual sort every day I guess

Mike,

We're aware of an issue that causes the tasks on date-based views to get our of their priority order. Unfortunately, we're unable to reproduce this as we'd need to know the exact circumstances which trigger it for the first time.

Technically, our script moves tasks with the same priority to the place where other tasks of the same priority are so reordering them once manually (excluding those with due times) both for today and tomorrow, should fix this permanently.

Best regards,
David
