Why is the content in SMS reminders repeating?

When I get an SMS reminder, it states the reminder twice. For example an SMS I received for a teleconference reads as follows:

(Reminder: Teleconference with Jamie Webster, counselor (home)) Reminder: Teleconference with Jamie Webst

Is there a reason for the repeat and is there a way to fix this?

Hi Roger,

Has this been the only task this has happened too or has other items received like this as well?

And to clarify, your text message you receive is the entire thing you wrote "Reminder: Teleconference with Jamie Webster, counselor (home)) Reminder: Teleconference with Jamie Webst"

Thanks,
Brendon.

Brendon,

The repeated SMS reminder happens every time. I only write the task once. Add a reminder to be sent via SMS at a specific date and time. Nothing unusual with the process as far as I can tell.

Roger,

Does the duplication appear within your notification area only, or if you open up your SMS program, it's duplicated as well?

Thanks,
Brendon.

Brendon,

The duplication appears in both the notification and the SMS program.

Roger,

If you head into Todoist.com Settings area, hit Reminders. Please edit your number, and choose "International" as the Provider, and choose one of the Canadian numbers (send from numbers).

Let me know if it happens after doing so.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Brendon,

Worked! Big difference, now I get a clean and clear SMS message.

Thanks for the advice.
