Adding a subtask to the correct parent task in iOS

When I'm trying to add a new subtask to an existing task, how do I add it to the parent task I want, if the parent task I want it to apply to isn't the last task in that particular project? E.g. If I have a project for "Cars" which is further broken down into categories like "Car A" and "Car B" and I want to add a new subtask to "Car A" like "change oil", but the last category under the project "Cars" is "Car B", then the new subtask automatically apples itself to that last category, not the one I want it to apply to. Is there a way, in iOS, to select which task I want my new subtask to fall under (other than the last entry in that project), or can this only be done on the web-app?

Sorry if this sounds confusing!

Hello Cliff,

Unfortunately, that's currently not possible in the iOS app. On our Android app we've just implemented a way to tap on a certain task to select it and then choose "Add task below" and we're planning to port it to the iOS app too.

For now, the only way to do so on the iOS app is by dragging & dropping the newly added sub-tasks below the parent task.

Honestly, I totally forgot that I could drag and drop it to the preferred spot! Although the Android approach you mentioned sounds good, the drag and drop will certainly suffice for me. Sorry about that, and thank you for the quick response.
