Sorting does not work?

AB

Hello,

I'm sorting my task manually in Today's list (which is great) and shortly after they get resorted (which is problematic and a big deal when working).

Help?

Thanks,
Anna

Hello Anna,

Please clarify - in what exact view are you sorting your tasks (in a project, today list, a filter etc.), are you doing it within the iOS app and is there a specific pattern to how they get resorted back?

Best regards,
David

In Today view, on either my iPad or iPhone, moving them manually with my finger. Then it would get just rearranged by project over an over, on that device and on the other. But, I just tried it again and it seems to work now. Maybe it was a completely random glitch that happened a few times.

Thank you for the quick reply! I'll let you know if it resurfaces.

Anna,

If it happens again, please let us know. Also, please note that if tasks on the today view have a specified time (today at 2pm, every Fri at 13:20 etc.), then it will not be possible to reorder them as timed tasks are always displayed at the top even before prioritized tasks.

Best regards,
David

Ok, great, thanks very much for the tip.

- By the way, any plans to incorporate military time to coding? (would much prefer to enter 1400... )

- Also, any plans to be able to rearrange notes in tasks (manually or, even better alphabetically)? This would be a big help.

Hi Anna,

We do not have any concrete plans for either of those suggestions but we are always looking to improve so it's very likely. Feel free to vote on them in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote_iOS/

Thanks,
Brendon.
