Hello Scott,

Unfortunately, it's currently now possible to use direct search, but you can set up a filter with a certain search query and save it. We will add direct search mode to our iOS app in the future, though.

Best regards,
David

Wow ... that was a fumble in the intial design phase of the app wasn't it?

If you want someone to copy, look at Evernote. Their search capabilities are brilliant (inside documents, etc.).

I hope to see this added soon. You lose a lot of functionaility to an otherwise great app without it.

Scott,

We've just implemented an advanced live search option to our latest Android app released today so we'll surely implement it on the iOS app as well.

Best regards,
David

Has this been implemented on iOS? I tried to search today but could only do it by creating a new filter and then deleting it afterwards.

Thanks

Mike

Mike,

This feature has indeed been implemented already :-) You can access it by pulling your task list down - this will reveal a search bar at the top.

Thanks for adding this feature, very much needed. My only comment would be that it instead of having to pull the list down to the see the search bar, it might be more intuitive to have the search appears by default.
