[UX/UI] Placement of Apply / Cancel icons
I'm really surprised about the placement of Cancel (upper left corner), Apply (upper right corner), and Delete (bottom edge) buttons...
I would think that both cancelling and applying changes would be a far more frequent use case than deleting. Having a thumb stretch all over 4" of vertical space into the corners is royally inconvenient.
I understand that 'Delete' is usually placed at the bottom of the settings. But it is a button of a very long list and it is assumed that no other cancel/apply buttons are present (i.e. changes take effect immediately and there is a single navigate back button).
As it stands right now, it is all too easy to delete a task and quite hard to hit save.
Worse still, both Cancel and Apply lack any visual indication -- color change, animation, position transforms -- to indicate the action is actually being accepted.
Thank you for the suggestions. Feel free to add any to out Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote_iOS/
We are currently in the process of re-creating out iOS app which includes many changes and improvements, we hope to have this out soon.
Thanks, Brandon! Look forward to seeing the new version. Please let me know if you need beta-testers!
