Why is the iPhone mobile version not allowing me to view the 7 day view?

Hello Mick,

Please clarify - how exactly is it not allowing you to view it? Do you see any error messages? Does the app crash? Is the list empty?

Also, try to uninstall and reinstall it and see if it helps.

My mobile Todoist will not open the 7 day view. When I click on it, it will not open and when I hold down the link and it gives me options to open, save, etc the link, it will not open it that way either. No error messages or empty views, just will not open it. I reinstalled the app and it still will not work. I can still access my 7 day view on the non-mobile version, just not the mobile version.

Are you able to click on other options, today view, or any other option?

Unfortunately, logging out or un-installing the app should fix a problem like this, and this is the first case we have heard of this happening. Without being able to reproduce it, it can get a bit hard to fix the problem.

Any information about your iPhone, might help.

I understand. I am able to view everything normally except the 7 day view. Also, it will fail to show my tasks altogether sometimes. This problem is fixed by just closing the app and going back in, but it has been several days since I could use the 7 day view. I have an iPhone 4S, normal setup, up-to-date software.

Also, I am unsure how to "reinstall" it because I have the same problem when I go to the website and try to use the mobile version from there. So, I deleted my app and added it back from the website to no avail. Do you recommend another way of "resetting" it?

Hi Mick,

Please log out of the app, then open up your Settings area, and find Safari, click on "Clear Cookies and Data" and then "Clear".

Once that is done, log back into the app. Let me know if it continues.

Unfortunately, past that I am un-sure what could be causing this.

It seems to be my particular account that is the problem. I have one project that has 150+ tasks and another with 70+. Could this be causing it to be finicky? That doesn't explain why the 7 day view is the only thing that doesn't work though.

Hi,

We do have a 150 task limit on a project, so it could be causing some issues if you are hitting that or over. We do not have any issues actually recorded or documented, so it's hard to say if that is the cause of it.
