Hi Burak,Can you please tell me, are you able to see this task on the iPhone app or can you find it using the q: search (search for a word from the task's name) to make sure that it's correctly deleted?- What was the exact due date of this task?- Did it have a default "30 minutes before" reminder or did you set a reminder to it manually (if so - what was the due date/time of the reminder)?- Can you please un-complete this task through the web-app at https://todoist.com then right-click on it, go to the "Reminders" menu and let me know if there is a reminder still set to it (and if so - what date/time does it have)? Also, please try to uninstall and reinstall the iPhone app and let us know if the issue persists.Thanks,Brendon.
I did not delete it. I marked it complete 1 hour before the deadline. It had the default "30 minutes before" reminder. As you can understand actions like uncompleting tasks, uninstalling and reinstalling apps contradict with the act of purchasing a premium subscription to improve productivity.Thanks,Burak.
Hello Burak,We're sorry for the inconvenience. Of course you should never have to reinstall the app or uncomplete tasks, but for the purpose of understanding what might have caused this issue and making sure that there isn't any corrupt cache or other problem with the app, it would be very helpful if you could do that and confirm if the issue persist (just so we can rule out certain causes of this issue). As for the issue itself, you've completed that task 1 hour before its deadline and received the reminder exactly 30 minutes later? If so, please tell me - do you have the same time zone set on your phone as well as on Todoist's settings? Can you reproduce this issue anytime?Best regards,David
I've also been having this same issue for the last few days. I had set a time for one of my tasks and marked it as complete once it was done. But the notifications haven't stopped on my iPod Touch. This happens only on the iPod, not with Android.
Hello Ashish,This should be fixed in the upcoming new iOS app which is already in the approval process, but for now, please try to uninstall the iOS app and reinstall it and let us know if the issue persist. If it does, try to search for this task on the web, find in what project it was and if you don't mind deleting completed tasks in it, try to do so. If this won't help either, remove your iOS device from the device list in Settings -> Reminders, then reinstall the iOS app and log back into it and see if you still get the reminder after the device appears on the list.Best regards,David
Okay, reinstalling the app seems to have solved the problem for now. I'll keep you guys posted in case it comes back.
I'm having this problem as well. I'm getting notifications every few minutes for a task I completed 5 hours ago. This seems to happen quite often despite repeated uninstalls and reinstalls on ios 7.
Derek,So you are having this issue with more than one task? Are these tasks all recurring tasks? Are you jailbroken? Thanks,Brendon.
I had this issue with a non-recurring task a few weeks ago, but it stopped after a day. I have this issue every week with a recurring task on Monday, and it seems to stop after midnight. I am not jailbroken.
Derek,Were these created on your iPhone or on the web version? Which version of iOS are you running? On the recurring task,if you right click on it, Reminders, what is listed there, are there more than one reminder? Thanks,Brendon.
Same for me: two simple tasks created on web, iOS 6 latest version,
I have the same problem for one task, using IOS7
Hi,We are looking into this. Please let us know as much information as possible, when the task was created, can you still find the task, etc? Thanks,Brendon.
I am having the same issue on my iOS app. I have not yet tried reinstalling the app. I will provide some specific information.I created the event in the early morning on Thursday, March 6. I set up one push notification reminder for some time Friday morning. I marked the event as completed on Friday morning.I have continued to receive push notifications at times that seem random: no obvious pattern. This morning, I've been receiving them every few minutes. I looked up the event in my history (using Chrome, not iOS). I saw that it was there and it was marked completed. I deleted it.A few minutes after deleting it, I received yet another push notification from iOS.Should I reinstall the app? Is there any more information I can provide to help you debug?
Hello Dan,Please reinstall the app (note - it won't remove any of your synced data) and let us know if the issue persists.Best regards,David
