iPod app crashing when I mark a recurring task as completed

U

I was invited to enjoy a free, one-month upgrade to Todoist Premium, so I decided to test it. What a HUGE disappointment!!! I gave up using it on the first day because iPod app crashes every time I mark a recurring task as completed. It's unacceptable for a $29/year app...

Hello Andreia,

We're sorry to hear that. We would greatly appreciate if you could post a couple examples of what exact due date formats have you used in these task so we can investigate and fix this issue.

Best regards,
David

Just to give you an exemple, iPod app has just crashed when I marked a task with due date "every week starting 23 march" as completed. And the task is still there after I close the app and open it again.

Andreia,

Thank you for this information, I've been able to reproduce this issue and I've passed it to the developers. We'll fix it as soon as we can. Sorry for the inconvenience.

For now, as a workaround, you could change the due date of this task to "every 7 days starting 23 march" and it should work correctly.

Best regards,
David

Thank you for your quick response, but I don't think I'll spend more time working around to have things done. And I definitely won't spend $29/year to buy youp app...

Andreia,

We're sorry to heat that. We're already working on a huge improvement of our iOS app - a new rewrite on a much faster and more stable architecture which will also of course fix this bug. We hope you give it a try once it's released soon.

Best regards,
David
