How do I get my Calendar app to not show completed tasks as to do tasks?

How do I get my Calendar app to not show completed tasks as to do tasks? After I compete a task in Todoist, they remain on my Calendar app as to do.

Hello Michael,

Please make sure that the calendar software on your phone has synchronized the calendar feed after you complete a task. Completed tasks should not be shown on your calendar feed. Try to manually resync it a couple of minutes after you make the change.

If this won't help, please tell me:
- What calendar software are you using?
- Are the tasks you're referring to sub-tasks or main (parent) tasks?

Best regards,
David

I tried to re-sync and that made no difference.

I am using Apple's ios6 Calendar app on my iPhone 4 and also Calendar version 6 on my IMac that is running Mountain Lion. The tasks I am referring to are sub-tasks.

Michael,

Sub-tasks indeed remain on the calendar if they're only checked off on Todoist, but not moved to history. To force a sub-task to move to history right away, please hold SHIFT while checking it off.

Best regards,
David
