Strange sync problem

I noticed that I received a notification for a task that I completed at 12:15am this morning. As you see in the screenshot, I received the notice at 6:15am this morning (about 6 hours AFTER I completed the task). I completed the task on my iPhone and received the notification on my iPhone. Any reason/thoughts about this?

Hello Michael,

Please tell me - are you in a 6 hour delayed timezone (with respect to UTC)? What are your timezone settings on Todoist, your computer and your phone?

I am in a -6 (Central Time) time zone. And all of my timezone settings across devices are correct (-6 Chicago/America).

I even looked at my Todoist app when I noticed the alarm going off at 6:15am and the task was still crossed out.

I don't think it is a timezone issue because I completed the task at 12:15am and i heard the notification go off at 6:15am.

Please clarify :
- What was the due date and time of the task in question?
- What time was the reminder set to?

The task was set for 6:45 am on Thursday 12/20/2012.
The task reminder is set for 30 mins prior.
The task was completed at 12:15ish am on Thursday 12/20/2012.
The reminder notification still hit at 6:15 am.

Michael,

I will pass this issue to the developers, as it may be possible that undelivered notifications may incorrectly be re-sent, but please tell me - what was the exact due date of the task? Was it "Thursday at 6:45 am" or maybe "every Thursday at 6:45"? What exact syntax was used with this task?

It was "Thurs @ 6:45am". It was a one time task, so there was no repetition.

We weren't able to reproduce this issue so far. Please tell me, did you complete this task while you were online and this change has been synchronized?
