How can I override "Connection failure SSL problem" when I want authorize Todoist ?

MM

When i want connect my iphone to use Todoist with my google account, i have to "authorise access" to make public my e-mail.

When i do this, I receive an SSL error :

problem (Possible causes may
include a bad/expired/self-signed
certificate, clock set to wrong date)"

In advance, Thank you for your help

Hello Mathieu,

Please tell me - can you access your GMail account directly on your iPhone or are you also getting this error when trying to log into your Google Account?

Best regards,
David

Hello David,

Thank you for answer me.

Yes, I can access to my Gmail account and log in with my iPhone without problem ... the error appears after this step.

So, when i start the Todoist apps, i log in with my google account then i have a page who asks me if i want authorise Todoist to disclose my e-mail and i receive the error when i accept...

Best regards,
Mathieu

Hello Mathieu,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. Please make sure that you're online when you log in. If you are, try to delete and reinstall the Todoist app.

Best regards,
David

I'm seeing this same issue when attempting to authenticate my Google account. A re-install will not fix an SSL issue. Try reproducing the issue using OS 5.1 or 5.0.1, then I suggest escalating it to a programmer. The ASIHTTPRequest might be broken.

Hello Michelle,

We can't reproduce this issue under iOS 6.0.1, I will notify the developers regarding iOS 5, though. Thank you for your report.

Best regards,
David
