How can I prevent double entries of all me tasks?

GD

Each task I enter is duplicated within seconds. So, instead of 4 tasks I vae 8! If I delete one of the duplicated tasks both are removed. Pah!

Hi Gef,

To clarify, this is on our Android app? If you clear the data for this app, does it still occur?

Do these tasks show duplicated on the web version?

Brendon.

Hello Tina,

Please tell me - can you reproduce this issue? That is - follow certain steps that always reliably trigger the duplication of data? If so, please let us know how does this happen, it would greatly help us in reproducing, identifying and fixing this issue.

Best regards,
David

I experienced the same today. One of the tasks I added earlier today in the app got duplicated in the app, but not on the web. It even acquired itself a subtask from another task, although it didn't have subtasks when I added it. :)

I cleared the data for the app and things got back to normal. If something comes up again, I will sure let you know. So far I can see no pattern whatsoever, apart from the fact that it happened to the only task created today.

Hello David,

The bug seems to have been solved by the new release (update) of your Android app that I installed today. The only 'pattern' was that the tasks were added via the Android app yesterday.

Tina

When deleting, funnily enough, after completing a task, only one of the entries goes !

So, after week or so, is there a fix for this, Todoist?

Hello Gef,

This issue should already be fixed. Please tell me, are you using version 3.0.7 of our app? If so, can you still recreate this issue in a new project? If you can, please let us know how are you doing it exactly - what are the properties of these tasks?

Best regards,
David
