projects are not available in task edit mode
This is resulting in the inability to edit a task. You get prompted that the task must have a project, and then it spins a blank white popup indefinitely. Note: the task already has a project. Also, my projects are visible in the slide out navigation bar - just not in task edit.
I am on Samsung Galaxy Note 2, running the latest version of Android app (3.0.3 - Android 4.3).
Just to be clear...
- select a task
- click the pencil icon
- the "project" is grayed out - and just states "Project", even though this has a project. When the "Project" is clicked, indefinite spin and white screen. Projects don't load.
Note: I have also tried killing Todoist app (in task manager) and loading it fresh. No luck.,
Please log out of the app, head into the Android settings, Applications, and clear the data for Todoist. Once that is done, log back in. Are you still having issues?
After following those steps, the problem persists.
Also, I cannot add a new task due to the same problem. It can't seem to find my projects, despite the fact that my 2 projects are visible and available in the slide out along with Today, next 7 days, projects, labels, etc.
I will let the developers know about it. Do you happen to be on acustom ROM?
No custom ROM. Just the standard Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (Verizon) running 4.3.
I'm having the exact same problems outlined by Mark (can't select projects on new or existing tasks).
I tried your suggested remedy and it did not solve the problem.
I've got a Samsung Galaxy S 3 (Verizon) running stock 4.3.
Same here, Samsung Galaxy S4, stock ROM/image that came with it.
This just occurred when I upgrade from Play Store to 3.0.3.
Major bug, editing tasks/entering tasks is impossible!!
The devs are aware of the issue now and we hope to find a fix soon. Sorry for the trouble.
Same problem here. I'm using Nexus 7 (2012 & 2013).
This has been fixed and the update will be coming soon.
Thanks! Fixed in 3.0.4.
Thanks Brendon for the quick fix, working fine again now
