Widget always out-of-date

My Todoist widget is always out of date unless I interact with it. For example, at noon it will still show today's tasks under the heading "tomorrow" and yesterday's tasks under the heading "today". Once I tap anything on the widget it updates. This should occur automatically at 12:00 AM.

I'm using Nova Launcher. I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

Hello Frederik,

Right now, our app doesn't support automatic forced sync that would adjust the data, but we'll add it in future updates soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

This question was the reason I came here. And for me the app itself doesn't refresh unless you hit the button. Please fix. Thanks.

Chris,

In January, we'll release a huge update to all our apps and one part of it will be "forced" push-sync so everything will be up-to-date without having to manually resync anything :)

I have difficulties too (nothing shown in the widegt, until de- and reinstalling it) - so I'm hoping for the update as well...

Slightly off-topic: it would be nice if I could select multiple tasks at once in the widget. (The app already allows this. The widget doesn't.)

Despite what David promised about the January update even with Todoist 3.0 this problem persists.

It's really unacceptable for a todo app to show out-of-date information in its widget. What's the point of having the widget if I can't have any confidence in the accuracy of its content?

Frederik,

In January we did indeed release a huge update, but we also just released another fairly large update resolving many issues. Please make sure you are updated to the latest and let us know if you are still having the issue.

It should now be 3.1
