Quick add shortcut on HTC One

CW

Hi there

On my old Nexus 4 I had a way to quickly add a new task through a shortcut on my home screen. It was the one that looked very similar to the todoist app itself. Now, on my new HTC One, I can't recreate this shortcut/widget. Where can I find it, or is it not supported?

I understand there is the quick add option from the notifications pulldown menu, to be clear this is not what I am referring to.

Thanks

Chris

Hello Chris,

This icon can be found in the same place where you can find all your widgets, please look for it there, it may not be listed as "Todoist", but as "Add Task Todoist" so please check the complete list of widgets.

If you can't find it there, please let us know - which version of Android are you using?

Best regards,
David

Hi David

Yeah doesn't seem to be there. Looked all through and searched as well (widgets are searchable on the HTC One). All I can find is the 'Todoist Task List' widget.

Running Android 4.2.2 and HTC Sense 5.0

Chris,

I can't reproduce this. Are you using any custom ROMs?

On Android 4.2.2 I can find the widget right before the "Todoist Task List", using a phone set to English, it's named "Todoist add task".

Please try to delete and reinstall the app and see if you can find it then.

Best regards,
David

OK fixed it. Sense differentiates between and separates widgets and shortcuts. Just found all the shortcuts for the first time. Thanks for your help
