Nested tasks under wrong task in application but not web

Hello,

I emailed a new task to todoist and while it is in the correct project on the web application the Android application has decided that four sub-tasks from another project entirely should be underneath it.

I assume that this the "master" (web app) is clean it's no problem but I am wondering if there is a way to correct the info on the Android application.

Thanks!

Hello Scott,

Please clarify - you've had all your tasks synced and up-to date between Android and the web-app, emailed one task to a project and after that saw (only on Android) 3 sub-tasks from a different project being moved below it?

Were they moved or copied so that you could see them in their original project? Does reinstalling the Android app still show these tasks afterwards? Which version of our Andorid app are you using?

Best regards,
David

I cannot attest to the android app being up to date as I only checked when I left the office but the rest of the sentence is spot on.

I didn't do anything with them as they were in the right spot in the web app. The tasks have since been archived as I completed the task but checking the phone just now I see that this has happened again with another task. This time the task was added on the web app and not via email.

App version 1.3 (Android 4.2.2 - CM 10.1.2)
Removing the app, clearing the cache, and reinstalling didn't change anything.

Best

Scott,

Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue. Do you know when this issue started to happen? Was there anything specific that happened as you've started to notice it, for example - only after you've completed a certain task structure and all these appearing sub-tasks are from the same structure or did you started to use a custom Android ROM and then this issue occurred?

Best regards,
David

It has started happening yesterday as far as I am aware, the nested tasks were completed as well as the task that they were under.

I'm on CyanogenMod 10.1.2 but have been on it for the past weeks without this issue arising before though.

I will clear the app's cache again and hope that this will resolve the issue. If it comes back again I will update this thread.

Best,
Scott

Scott,

Unfortunately, we still can't reproduce this. If this would happen again and you will be able to reconstruct it, please let us know how. Sorry for the inconvenience.
