Tasks update/autoupdate does not work on adroid

RW

Hi, I have galaxy note 2, n7100 android app, premium account and desktop + browser.

Whenever I complete or add new task it does not update on Android, widget does not even have 'refresh button'.

I just switched from RTM where all that was automatic.

Shouldn't that be automatic? I have tasks that I need to complete without computer - but they dont sync fast enough.

Hi Robert,

Please clarify, does the Widget not update, or does the App & Widget not update? Also, to confirm, you are connected to the internet when using your device? Yes, these should auto update with new information.

I would suggest trying to log out, and back in again. If that does not help, clearing the data for the app (Android Settings, Applications, find Todoist).

Thanks,
Brendon.

Ok I add task 2 tasks with today as due day in project in chrome browser on desktop computer, I "complete one" - it does not update on
a) todoist app on android (till I press refresh)
b) widget on android showing today tasks

I did clear app settings in android, re-added widget - didn't help.

Those tasks do not refresh till I click manually. And hence widget does not have refresh button - no way to even see progress on connected device.

If I have to manually refresh sadly I'll have to resign from using todoist.

Robert,

To clarify, the Android app does not auto update completely, it updates when something happens. If you make a change, it will grab the latest content, if you stay with a view and not touch anything, it will do nothing.

The widget on the other hand should be updated automatically. I would suggest, uninstalling the app, rebooting the phone, and reinstalling the latest version. Unfortunately, I am unable to reproduce this issue.

Thanks, sorry for the issues,
Brendon.
