where is premium functionality in android app?

G

I cannot use premium features like searches and archived info or completed tasks from my android app (I use samsung galaxy tab 2.0, 7').

Is it normal? Should I download something else?

Thank you in advance...

Btw: changing to premium really helps a lot !

George

Hi George,

Please try logging out of the android app, and back in again.

Thanks,
Brendon

Hi Brendon,

Just did that, but nothing changes. There is no "search" sign or "Completed Tasks" or "Archived projects" that could enable the functionality that we enjoy on our browser.

Hi,

Make sure you are signing into the same account on android as you are on your browser.

Tell me, how did you purchase your premium subscription? Through Google Play, or?

Thanks,
Brendon.

HI there,

I only have one account, and I have purchased the Premium account through your website.

I'm just thinking: perhaps I should try un-installing TODOIST and then installing once again. Could that help ?

Regards
George

Hi,

Yes that could fix the issue, though logging out tends to fix this type of issue, please give that a try.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Brendon, it is weird but nothing's changed.

Are we certain that there indeed should be a "search" textbox and the other tools present in the android app ?

Is there any chance that my device does not fully support the latest edition?

George

Hi,

I am sorry, you are correct. I was mistaken and was thinking of the Web version. There is no search box. You can access your labels, and filters from the android app though through the side menu.

Please confirm you are able to do so.

Sorry about the confusion.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi,

I think we solved the mystery. I can access my labels and filters through the side menu.

It would be useful if I could access and search my closed tasks and my archived projects through the app.

Please consider for a future update

Thank you for sorting this out

George
